Handy location to launch a kayak/canoe from. Downstream to Spadonis Reserve or upstream toward Tarawarra or even Healesville. The river flow is sedate but the river was effectively blocked a couple of km's upstream by fallen trees.

Good place to meet, easy to find & access and the toilets are clean.

Parking was a nightmare and they had a coffee van with a 20 minute wait on tea. Yes. On TEA.
