Set in beautiful grounds and selling chocolate and wonderful flavours of yummy icecream - what is there NOT to like! They ARE expensive though, but you have to pay for quality and quality is what you get. The staff are friendly and there is a cafe. I liked the fact that you could watch the chocolate going through the making processes through the full length windows into the factory.. Great place with terrific country views.
Chocolates production and for sale. Visitors can enjoy confectionery produce in this place with a cup of black coffee (long black).The scenery is also very enlightening as it shows the vast land used to grow grapes, on the background. Very typical for this part of the world or similar northern hemisphere climate where the weather governs planting of these tasty fruits/drink - for wine processing.
Cute place with a huge selection of chocolate. Great if youre a chocolate fanatic and/or if youre looking for some edible souvenirs. Theres all kinds of chocolate products (truffles, bars, bars with interesting fusions/flavors, spreads, etc.). This place also has a cafe and sells ice cream. Worth to check out if youre in the area!
The grounds, interior, chocolate, ice cream and other food are all excellent. We went in summer but it would also be a nice destination any time of year. Plenty of car parking, seating and space to walk. The chocolate and ice cream were both great!
Very friendly staff, the prices at the cafe were quite reasonable too. This place is situated on a lovely patch of land overlooking the vineyards. Plenty of parking, but can be quite busy depending on what day it is. Entry is free which is great, there are also three bowls of free sample chocolate buttons at the entrance; milk, dark and white. There is an incredible array of chocolates to choose from so no matter what your tastes are you're sure to find something you like. The toilets are just ahead of.you as you walk in so they're easy to find. My girlfriend and I sat outside undercover and ate our food while looking out at the fantastic view in front of us. Overall I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
